Adjust the Upper Arm for Different Bottle Heights
The DY5-500 electric capping machine fits bottles from 5 ml to 500 ml, such as vials, oral liquid bottles and infusion bottles. Follow these steps to adjust the upper arm:

Place your target bottle on the machine tray.

Hold the horizontal arm with one hand, and loosen the nut on the left of the arm with your other hand.
-
Move the arm up or down until the capping head stays about 20 mm above the bottle cap.

Tighten the nut. Use the provided hex wrench to fix the support ring tightly against the horizontal arm.
Important: Make sure the capping head lines up with the center of the bottle cap before you tighten any nuts.

Adjust the V-Shaped Bottle Support Block
The V-shaped support block holds bottles steady during sealing. Follow these steps to adjust it:

Put the bottle inside the lower V-shaped slot.

Loosen the two screws on the support block.

Move the support block together with the bottle until the capping head perfectly lines up with the cap.

Tighten the two screws to lock the block in place.

Step-by-Step Operation for Precise Bottle Sealing
The DY5-500 machine makes tight, even seals for all medicine glass bottles. Follow these steps:

Put the filled bottle with an aluminum cap on the lower tray, and lean it against the V-shaped block. Hold the bottle gently with one hand.

Pull the handle backward and downward. The tray lifts the bottle up until the cap presses firmly against the capping head.

When the cap touches the sealing head, the three spinning blades turn several times to lock the cap tightly.
Warning: Make sure the motor spins clockwise while working. 4. Push the handle forward to let the tray move back down. Take out the sealed bottle and repeat the whole process for the next bottle.

Adjust the Capping Head for Perfect Sealing Results
The DY5-500 machine comes with adjustable capping heads to fit all sizes of aluminum caps.

If caps are too loose: Loosen the lock nut of the capping head, turn the top capping head counterclockwise, then tighten the lock nut again.

If caps are too tight: Loosen the lock nut, turn the top capping head clockwise, then tighten the lock nut again.
How to adjust blade eccentricity:

If the bottom edge of the cap is not fully sealed, make the eccentricity of three sealing blades a little smaller.

If the sealing force is too strong and may crack glass bottles, make the eccentricity a little larger.
