What Is a Quantitative Liquid Filling Machine?

The FZH-10 piston liquid filling machine is a small electric quantitative filling device. It can fill thin and medium thick liquid accurately with stable results.
This machine uses mature piston filling parts. Users can change filling volume and filling speed freely. It fits labs, hospitals, pharmacy preparation rooms, pesticide factories and all small batch production lines.
This machine can fill liquid continuously and run smoothly. It is easy to take apart and clean. It works well for ampoules, vials, eye drops, oral liquid, pesticide bottles, cosmetic liquid and lab test reagents.

FZH Series Quantitative Filling Machine Working Principle & Operation Guide

The FZH quantitative filling machine is a piston-type liquid filling equipment. It can provide precise and repeatable liquid filling for pharmacy, lab and chemical industries. Below are clear working rules and step-by-step operation steps to keep safe use, accurate filling and steady machine performance.

Pre-operation Preparation

Before you start the machine, connect the ground wire properly to keep electricity safe.
Pick the matching standard syringe filling set based on your needed filling volume: 0.2–1 ml → 1 ml syringe 1–5 ml → 5 ml syringe 5–10 ml → 10 ml syringe 20 ml model → 20 ml glass enema syringe 100 ml model → 100 ml glass enema syringe (You may also choose special stainless steel filling sets made by our factory) 500 ml model → Custom stainless steel filling set from our factory
Choosing the right syringe is very important to get high filling accuracy and even filling volume every time.

Install the Lower Syringe Parts

Take out the inner plunger core of the syringe. Slide the threaded sleeve over the plunger core.
Important reminder: The 10 ml model has syringes with different outer diameters. Choose the right sealing gasket according to the real outer size of your syringe.
Fix the plunger core on the lower base with the threaded sleeve. Always keep all syringe parts clean when you install or take them apart, to meet clean production standards.

Install the Upper Clamp

Put the upper clamp base over the liquid outlet end of the syringe barrel. Tighten the two nuts evenly.
When you use a 5 ml syringe, install the matching sleeve together and tighten it gently.
Do not tighten the nuts too hard. Too much force will crack the syringe barrel.
Differences between different models: The 10 ml model comes with an adjustment sleeve. The 20 ml, 100 ml and 500 ml models do not need an adjustment sleeve.

Put Together the Piston Filling System

Put the inner plunger core back into the outer syringe barrel. Now you finish a full piston filling set. The basic syringe assembly of the filling machine is done.

Install the Filling Valve

Mount the filling valve with the arrow pointing up, and the arrow mark facing outwards.

Mount the Full Filling Assembly

For the fully put-together filling assembly:
  • Line up the top and bottom round holes of the filling unit with the top and bottom fixing rods, then slide the whole unit onto the rotating bearing.
  • Make the outer end surface of the filling assembly flat with the bearing surface.
Notes for installing lower parts: Stop the threaded sleeve from touching the crank structure. When installed correctly, there should be a 1 mm gap between the sleeve and the crank. Wrong gap size will make strange noise or wear machine parts quickly while running.
After you place the unit correctly: Tighten both top and bottom set screws. Use a short rubber tube to connect the syringe liquid outlet to the valve nozzle. Link the inlet tube to the liquid feeding port, and link the outlet tube to the filling discharge port. Fix both tubes neatly on the side brackets of the machine shell to avoid tangled tubes.

Manual Test Run

Turn the crank handle by hand: The crank should spin smoothly without blockages. If you feel strong resistance while turning, the assembly is not installed correctly.
When you meet blocking resistance, check if the whole filling assembly is fully attached and tightly fixed on the rotating bearing.
